When you buy an AI subscription in Pakistan, the price is only half the story. The other half is the access type: whether the account is private, shared, or reached through an invitation. This guide explains private vs shared vs invitation accounts in plain words, so you know who can see your data, what can go wrong, and which type fits students, freelancers and businesses before you pay a single rupee.

What are the main AI account types?

There are three main access types, plus a few variations: private accounts, shared accounts and invitation-based access.

Every plan in our store shows its access type next to the price, so you can choose before ordering. Here is what each label means:

  • Activated on your own email. The plan is switched on inside your existing account, such as your own Gmail. Only you log in, and your history stays with you after the plan ends.
  • Private account. A login that is set up for you alone. Nobody else is given the same login, but the account is created for you rather than being your existing personal account.
  • Shared account. A shared account is one paid login that several buyers use at the same time. It costs less because the subscription cost is split.
  • Family invitation. You receive an official invitation to join a paid family plan. You keep using your own account, and the plan's benefits appear on it.
  • Dedicated slot. A reserved place on a plan with a fixed allowance of usage, meant for heavy users who need predictable capacity.

Private vs shared account: who can see your data?

On a private account only you can see your chats and files. On a shared account, anyone who uses the same login can usually see the chat history, uploads and saved settings.

This is the most important difference, and it is the one buyers most often forget. An AI chat app keeps a history of what you type. On a shared login, that history is visible to the other people using it, and theirs is visible to you. Some apps also have memory features that remember details across chats, which means personal facts you mention can show up for someone else.

How does a Google family invitation work?

A family invitation adds your own Google account to someone else's paid Google AI plan, so the benefits appear on your Gmail without sharing a password.

Google lets a plan manager share Google AI plans with a family group. According to Google's help page on starting or stopping family sharing, a plan can be shared with up to 5 family members. Google's page on AI credits adds a few details worth knowing:

  • AI credits and storage are pooled and shared across the family group.
  • Only the plan manager can buy extra credits, upgrade or downgrade the plan.
  • Members can see total AI credit usage per person, but not each other's individual activity.

Google's family group help page also lists conditions for joining. You need a personal Google account (not a work or school account), you cannot already be in another family group, and you cannot switch family groups more than once in 12 months. Check that list before you order, and ask us on WhatsApp if you are unsure whether your account qualifies.

The big advantage is privacy. Your chats, Gmail and Drive files stay in your own account. The trade-off is that you depend on the plan manager keeping the plan active, which is why a warranty matters.

What are the risks of a shared AI account?

The main risks of a shared account are lower privacy, occasional login changes, and usage limits being used up by other people on the same plan.

Shared accounts are not a scam by themselves. They are a budget option, and they are honest as long as the seller tells you clearly that the account is shared. Problems start when a shared login is sold as "private". Keep these risks in mind:

  1. Privacy. Other users can read what you type. Never paste passwords, CNIC numbers, bank details, client contracts or unpublished work.
  2. Limits. Message and generation limits are often counted per account, so heavy use by others can slow you down on a busy day.
  3. Session changes. If the account is logged out or the password is reset, you may need fresh login details from the seller.
  4. No history after expiry. When the plan ends, you lose access to everything saved on that login.

To stay safe on a shared account, do not change the password, email or profile settings, delete your sensitive chats after use, and keep copies of important work on your own device. Our FAQ page covers more questions about shared logins.

How much does each access type cost in Pakistan?

Shared plans are the cheapest, plans on your own email sit in the middle, and family invitations or dedicated slots cost more because you get your own account with more capacity.

These are current prices from our store, all payable in PKR through EasyPaisa, JazzCash, NayaPay, UPaisa or bank transfer.

Notice that a cheaper plan is not always the less private one. The Gemini Pro 18-month private code is one of the lowest prices in the catalog and it goes on your own Google account. You can compare the Google options side by side on the Google AI Ultra and Gemini Pro pages.

Which account type should you choose?

Choose by how sensitive your work is: private or invitation for anything personal or client-related, and shared only when the work is low-risk and the budget is tight.

  • Students doing assignments and notes can start on a shared plan such as ChatGPT Go, as long as they avoid personal details. If you write a thesis or keep long research files, a plan on your own Gmail is better because your history stays with you.
  • Freelancers handle client briefs, contracts and unpublished designs. Use a private plan or one activated on your own email, so client data is never visible to strangers.
  • Small businesses and agencies should avoid shared logins for customer data. A family invitation or dedicated slot gives you capacity without mixing your work with other buyers.
  • Video creators who need Google's video tools at volume will usually find the family invitation or 25k slot more reliable than a shared base.

How to check the access type before you pay

Read the access type label on the plan, then confirm it on WhatsApp before sending money.

  1. Open the tool page and look at the access type column in the plan table.
  2. Ask the seller directly: "Is this shared, private, or an invitation to my own email?"
  3. Never give your email password. For email activations and invitations, a seller only needs your email address.
  4. Read the warranty and the refund policy so you know what happens if access stops early.
  5. Keep your payment receipt and the WhatsApp chat until the plan period ends.

FAQ

Is a shared ChatGPT account safe?

It is safe for low-risk tasks if you never share personal or client information on it. Other users on the same login can usually see chat history, so treat it like a public computer.

Private aur shared account mein kya farq hai?

A private account is used only by you, while a shared account is one login used by several buyers. Private keeps your chats and files to yourself; shared is cheaper but less private.

Do I need to give my Gmail password for a family invitation?

No. A family invitation is sent to your email address, and you accept it from your own inbox. Anyone asking for your Gmail password is a red flag.

Can other family members see my Gemini chats?

According to Google's help pages, family members can see total AI credit usage per person, but not your individual activity. Your chats and files stay in your own account.

What happens to my data when a shared plan ends?

You lose access to the shared login and everything saved on it. Download or copy anything important before the plan period ends.
